Compliance Forum Responsibilities
To serve as a resource in the area of Healthcare Compliance.
To provide educational programs to the Chapter in the area of Healthcare Compliance.
To provide educational programs, forums, and opportunities for increased knowledge about the interpretation and implementation of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
To serve as support and a resource to the National HFMA Compliance Forum.
To coordinate with the California Healthcare Association, the Southern California and Imperial Chapters of HFMA, and other associations on compliance issues.
To serve as a networking forum for members of the committee and others in the compliance field.
