Executive Committee Responsibilities
The Executive Committee shall consist of the chapter officers and the immediate past President. The committee's responsibilities are as follows:
To act on the behalf of the Chapter in all matters within the authority of the committee during the regular course of business between meetings of the Board of Directors.
To monitor the development and implementation of the Chapter Multi-Year Plan.
To direct Chapter operations in accordance with the Board directives and Chapter policies and procedures, including oversight of Chapter committees and the administration of Chapter affairs.
To oversee the development and implementation of the Chapter budget and the management of Chapter finances.
To ensure compliance by the Chapter with HFMA National Charter requirements for chapters, and to provide a liaison between the Chapter and the National Board of Directors and staff.
To implement on-going quality management programs for the Chapter, including communications between chapter leaders and members, membership surveys, and other programs to assess membership satisfaction and quality of service.
