Job Description:
Witt/Kieffer has been engaged by Dignity Health to recruit the important role of Chief Financial Officer for Woodland Healthcare in Woodland, California. Located near Sacramento, Woodland Healthcare is an integrated healthcare organization comprised of the Woodland Clinic Medical Group, Woodland Memorial Hospital and Woodland Healthcare-Davis, committed to providing quality healthcare for the residents of Woodland, Davis and surrounding communities. Part of Dignity Health and their Greater Sacramento/San Joaquin Service Area, with a medical staff of over 100 physicians and allied health professionals, Woodland Healthcare is nationally recognized as a quality leader and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission. Reporting dually to the President of Woodland Healthcare and the Service Area CFO, the CFO of Woodland will be critical to the continued success and growth of the hospital, clinics and service area.
The CFO will be responsible for financial operations for Woodland Healthcare, working closely with the President, Service Area CFO, Medical Group President and other key leaders on overall financial performance, physician strategies, and alignment initiatives. Operationally and financially, Woodland has done well and is currently working toward a 9% EBITDA operating margin. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned, proven finance executive with senior-level experience leading a mission and performance-driven finance organization of comparable size and complexity. Medical group foundation, ambulatory/clinic operation experience is critical. Familiarity with capitation is strongly preferred and experience in California is helpful.
