Maria Dryden is an Associate Attorney at DLA Piper LLP specializing in health and managed care litigation. She served as general counsel to the Center for AIDS Research and Education Services (CARES) and is an arbitrator for the American Health Lawyers Association Alternative Dispute Resolution Service. She also has served as an Adjunct Teaching Professor for the Appellate Advocacy Program at the McGeorge School of Law. Ms. Dryden graduated from the McGeorge School of Law in 2001. She has been an active member of HFMA since 2005. Ms. Dryden has served as co-chair and chair for the Compliance Committee since becoming a member and is currently on the planning committee for the Northern California Chapter Spring Conference.
