Matt Morgan
Matt Morgan is a healthcare finance professional with 10 years of industry experience. He currently serves as the Director of Financial Services at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula (CHOMP). Prior to that role he was employed as the Manager of Financial Reporting at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as well as stints at Granada Hills Community Hospital and Prudential. Previous experience outside of the healthcare industry includes a period as an Accounting Manager in the mortgage industry. He has a passion for intelligent data presentation, cost control and problem resolution. Before moving to the Central Coast, Matt was very active in the Southern California Chapter of HFMA as a board member and committee chair. He holds a BS in Finance from San Diego State University and an MBA from California State University Northridge. Matt enjoys playing beach volleyball and snowboarding and is active in his church. He lives with his wife and 2 young daughters in the paradise known as Carmel California.
