Kenneth Jensen
Ken Jensen is a senior healthcare executive with over thirty-five years of experience in all aspects of finance, budgeting, and accounting for county, university, district, and community hospitals, as well as physician group and individual practices. He also has significant experience in directing other fields, including radiology, lab, IT, human resources, "hotel" type services, and more. Currently, Ken is the Senior Vice President and CFO for ValleyCare Health Systems in Pleasanton and Livermore, California. Having been a HFMA member since the early eighties, he has served as chair or co-chair on a number of committees, including Membership Handbook and Strategic Planning, while also contributing to various seminars. Ken has served a full term on the Board and filled a partial term, and has presented topics at local symposiums and Region 11. He is the recipient of the Follmer Bronze Merit Award and other recognitions. Ken is committed to furthering the success of the Chapter and to continuing the professional growth and camaraderie of its members.
