Steve has been a member of HFMA since 1975 and an advanced member since 1979. He is the Director of Patient Financial Services for the Sutter West Bay Hospitals CBO North. Over the past 30 years, Steve has worked in a number of facilities both in Northern and Southern California including Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center, Cedars Sinai Medical Center and Ernst and Young Health Care consulting division. He has an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration from Cal State Northridge and MBA from St. Mary's College. He was initially certified in 1978 and has received the Muncie Gold Award in 2000 and Founders Medal of Honor in 2005. Steve was nominated to a two-year term on the HFMA PFS National Advisory Council starting June 2009.
